Blog Tour: BRING ME HOME (Shattered Hearts #3) by Cassia Leo
The breath-taking conclusion to the New York Times and USA Today bestselling series.
Claire Nixon is a college student with a past full of secrets and heartbreak. She was saved once by her first love, and rock star, Chris Knight. But when she encouraged Chris to leave town to pursue his dreams, both Claire and Chris didn’t realize it would be the biggest mistake of their lives.
After a devastating year apart and thousands of miles of distance between them, Claire met sexy surfer Adam Parker. With his awful jokes and profound patience, he helped Claire pick up the shattered pieces of her broken heart for the second time.
But now Chris has returned and he is willing and determined to make Claire’s dreams come true—the same way she did for him when she let him go.
With Adam’s former girlfriend in the picture, Claire finds herself torn between the new, passionate love she shares with Adam and the love and family she shares with Chris.
Chris, Claire, and Adam…because we love them so much!!!
Abby’s review: 5 fantastic perfect stars!!!
Oh I love a good conclusion. This series had discussion groups started immediately after they finished. I was one of them who was like, OMG I have to talk about this book. I ranted and raved and shared my opinions with about anyone who would listen so I was very glad to get to read Bring Me Home as soon as it was possible.
I am not going to give away what happens here, I promise. I feel that in reviewing this if I did tell you what happens it would be an injustice. I think there are the right amount of twists and turns that every person no matter what side of the fence you are on you will be happy.
Sometimes things are not always how you want them to be but in the end they wind up exactly how they should be. Cassia Leo does an amazing job, keeping this more realistic, and giving it a perfect ending that should suit all sides of the fence.
I was perfectly content and happy with this book all the way through. It has killer lines that I loved!
“Love is not black and white. It’s not even gray. Love is every shade of color in the spectrum, changing with every ray of light given and stolen. Sometimes you forget how much you love someone, until you realize their smile is like a spotlight shined on your heart.”
Then there are the extremely sexy lines,
“I want to live inside you”
There are lines that give you hope and strength,
“I try to imagine that each step is making me stronger. It’s much harder to fool our brains into thinking we’re strong than it is to believe we are weak. But if we are taught to see the good in others, we should also try to see the good in ourselves.
I am strong.
I have endured the and agony of my mother’s death. I’ve battled the loneliness of not having a home. I’ve survived willingly handing over a piece of my soul to complete strangers after loosing the love of my life.
I will survive this.”
Wow if that quote doesn’t put every reader on team Claire! This may be a love story, but in the end it is also about Claire’s journey in finding, her peace, strength and home.
“Where we love is home.”
Dawn’s Review 5 Stars
Beautifully written conclusion to the Shattered Hearts series. Cassia Leo captured so many emotions in her writing of Bring Me Home. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect conclusion. Well, maybe there’s one thing that I wanted resolved but I also feel that it added to the story and left me just wanting a little bit more.
Cassia Leo writes seamless transitions between chapters and handles alternating POVs so smoothly that I never felt I was rehashing the prior chapter. Loved how the epilogues (yes, there are multiple epilogues) wove the lives of Adam, Claire, and Chris together and gave a sense of closure and that all was as it was meant to be.
I loved the integration of music with the story. I personally don’t always listen to music when I read, but I do like to occasionally listen to the playlists for the books I read as I’m going so the experience is richer. Well-done on the song selections. I don’t think I’ll ever hear Ellie Goulding sing Your Song and not get teary-eyed!!
The Shattered Hearts series is one that will be on my re-read shelf and Bring Me Home left me simply feeling humbled by the skill in how Cassia Leo could write Claire’s story with such beauty, such heart, and such a depth of feeling.

USA Today bestselling author Cassia Leo loves her coffee, chocolate, and margaritas with salt. When she’s not writing, she spends way too much time watching old reruns of Friends and Sex and the City. When she’s not watching reruns, she’s usually enjoying the California sunshine or reading–sometimes both.
