Oh Mrs Tillie Cole…you have broken me like I haven’t been in a long time, but I have to say – you have put me back together with a few extra pieces. Those pieces are named Rune and Poppy, 2 characters who are forever a part of my heart.
Everyone deserves to experience this book without spoilers. I would do this book such a disservice to give you more than this little tid bit…Rune and Poppy, best friends from the moment they shook hands, their friendship – meant to be. You willl have the pleasure of watching these two amazing people grow up and experience life, their fists and each other. Just an absolutely beautiful telling of two people who are meant to be together, to be each other’s “always forever”, “for infinity” and “two halves of the same whole”
The basis of the One Thousand Kisses comes from Poppy’s Memaw when she asks Poppy to write down the memory of 1000 kisses from “the one”. From the first kiss to the one thousandth kiss, your heart will burst!
I should let you know – be prepared to cry, not just sad tears but happy tears also.
This book was pure and utter perfection.
Grab your tissues and get ready to read your next 5 star book!
This book has jumped to my #1 read of 2016. I want people to just trust in me and others who have read this book already. It will break your heart at times, but make you smile bigger than you ever thought you could.
