I am a huge Georgia Cates fan and was excited to read this story! Porter is the final book in the Lovibond series (book #3). I don’t know how I missed them, but I did not read books 1 & 2. Porter is a standalone and the author does a nice job of filling in the blanks where certain characters are involved. Reading it makes me want to go back and read the first two books!
The book was fast paced with a touch of insta love. Told in dual POV’s, this is Porter’s story….
Porter Beckman has had his share of women and sometimes they try to return for round two by showing up at the Lovibond Brewery. So it appears that he has a bit of a reputation… He is also in desperate need of a graphic designer & marketing person to help take up some of the slack. Porter is looking to hire an intern temporarily until a full-time person can be found.
Frances Ameline Dawson (aka Frankee) shows up for an interview. She is super talented in graphic design and looking to intern until she moves to Austin in September. Along with her talent comes her knock out beauty. She is young and gorgeous. This is where the touch of insta love comes in. Frankee’s dad is an employee at Lovibond Brewery and she would help out around the brewery when she was a teenager. An awkward, gangly and shy teenager with a crush on Porter. At first Porter doesn’t recognize her…..

“Took a minute but yeah I do. In my defense, you’ve….changed.” Huge understatement. Developed. Matured. Bloomed. Blossomed. All of those words would be much better choices.
Needless to say her talent secures her position as an intern. And then the insta love develops into more! Frankee may be young, but she is mature and some would say an “old soul.” She is beautiful, talented and confident.
Porter is sexy, alpha and direct. His attraction to Frankee is there from the start and they waste no time acting on it. There are some hot hot scenes! But Porter’s past ways catch up to him as the story takes an unexpected turn.
As I said above the story is fast paced but flows from chapter to chapter. Georgia Cates has a way of bringing her characters to life in a way that has me feeling as if I am right there with them. I enjoyed the story and will go back to read books 1 & 2. I would love to meet the other men of Lovibond Brewery!

The 3rd book in the series about 3 friends who start a brewery. I have enjoyed each book in the series. This may be my favorite.
We have had a sneak peak at porter in the other books and knew there was a secret going on but now we know!
Frankee – the 21 year old daughter of Scott (the warehouse manager) has applied for the summer internship (side note: – at 16 Frankee helped out at the brewery and had a bit of a crush on Porter). She’s back and she’s not 16, she’s a smart, beautiful, sassy 21 year old who has skills, graphic design and marketing skills that is!
Their attraction is instant but there is no way that this 30 year old is going to start something with Frankee. But sometimes age isn’t a concern and feelings take over.
Frankee is a bit less…”worldy” than Porter but he’s gentle, sweet caring and loving with Frankee but has a dirty mouth to rival a sailor!
Porter tries to deny these feeling but it just isn’t gonna happen and once again Georgia Cates has giving us a sexy, romantic read that hits the spot! Getting a sneak peak into Tap and Stout’s lives was an added bonus for me.
