Ohhhhh…the sloooooowwww burn and angst of this story are of epic proportions! Add in a brother’s best friend and second chance romance and I am one happy reader!
Machlan and Hadley are unfinished business but both are so leary of saying the final goodbye. Some relationships are never over when we think they are over and these two are in that boat together. It’s a rocky, rough ride. Some secrets in their past have kept them apart but sometimes you just can’t deny fate.

There are times I wanted to scream at these two because it’s so obvious they love and care for each other but the past has been littered with decisions that may hinder their ability to be together.
