A groundbreaking novel in the New Adult genre, Easy faces one girl’s struggle to regain the trust she’s lost, find the inner strength to fight back against an attacker, and accept the peace she finds in the arms of a secretive boy.
Breakable synopsis:
And the future seemed more fragile than ever.
As a child, Landon Lucas Maxfield believed his life was perfect and looked forward to a future filled with promise — until tragedy tore his family apart and made him doubt everything he ever believed.
All he wanted was to leave the past behind. When he met Jacqueline Wallace, his desire to be everything she needed came so easy…
As easy as it could be for a man who learned that the soul is breakable and that everything you hoped for could be ripped away in a heartbeat.
I loved this series when I read it. I read Easy in January of 2013 and Breakable in May 2014. If you haven’t had a chance to read this series – please take the time…but honestly, I think the audible version of this book was even better than the book – gasp- I know. The narrators in these audibles should receive an Oscar for their performances. Honestly, if Zachary Webber can read every book for me in audible I would be OK with that. I first heard him on audible when I listened to Colleen Hoover’s Maybe Someday (which was my first audible purchase). I have listened to other books with the same narrators and found myself often confused wondering why a character from another book was in this book! Not once while I was listening to Landon/Lucas did I think Ridge from Maybe Someday!
His voice is like the most beautiful thing I have ever listened to. I should warn you that either grocery shopping or driving while listening to these audible book may be dangerous or embarrassing. Crying in the grocery store will get you a few sideways looks and driving and crying is never a good idea. I honestly believe in my heart that during parts of Breakable Zachary was crying while reading this book, his heart breaking too! His emotions were so real. Even when Landon/Lucas was happy I could almost hear the smile on his face.
Just beautiful! Take the time to listen to these books! – schedule a car trip so you have a reason to listen to these book…go on vacation, do your spring clean….just find time to listen to them!!

Book THREE??? What?? How did I miss this??
He’s the love of her life, but he doesn’t know it.
She’s his one moment of sacrifice in a lifetime of survival.
He was damaged and wild, but resilient.
She’s always been obedient; now she’s restless.
Home for the summer between college and med school, Pearl Torres Frank knows two things: Boyce Wynn is the embodiment of everything she should run from, and everything she wants to run to. Rebellious and loud. Unconcerned with society’s opinion of him. Passionate. Strong. Dangerous.
And one more trait he hides from everyone but her:
Sweet.
