Audible Review ~~ Reasonable Doubt by Whitney G.
My cock has an appetite.
A huge and very particular appetite: Blonde, curvy, and preferably not a fucking liar…(Although, that’s a story for another day.) As a high profile lawyer, I don’t have time to waste on relationships, so I fulfill my needs by anonymously chatting and sleeping with women I meet online.
My rules are simple: One dinner. One night. No repeats.
This is only casual sex. Nothing more. Nothing less.
At least it was, until “Alyssa”…She was supposed to be a 27 year old lawyer, a book hoarder, and completely unattractive. She was supposed to be someone I shared law advice with late at night, someone I could trust with details of my weekly escapades.
But then she came into my firm for an interview–a college-intern interview, and everything fucking changed…
LOUISA’S 4 STAR REVIEW
I have said it before, I almost always listen to audible books that I have read before. And Reasonable Doubt is not different. I enjoyed the book when I read it and I think I might like it even more now that I have listened to it.
I always enjoy a dual POV book, and I especially enjoy it when it’s an audible book.
The narrators were believable and charismatic. As with most audible books, I feel like the characters are talking specifically to me…like they are just telling me their story. Some narrators for me are just “reading”, these narrators were Andrew and Aubrey – or Alyssa and Liam, any way you listen, the narrators were these characters through and through.
The story was about 2 people who started their friendship/relationship start with lies, but even with lies they NEED each other. This series takes you from the beginning of their relationship, through the ups and down, truths and lies, but it keeps you captivated! The love, sex and intimacy between Andrew and Aubrey is off the records hot, I had to remember that when I was listening to this book while my kids were in the room. I had to stop listening a few times because holy moly, Whitney can write one sexy and hot sex scene. In fact it would not surprise me in the slightest if Whitney went on to enjoy a long and illustrious career writing sex scenes for the kinds of films you can find on adult websites like collegeporn. Her writing talents know no bounds.
Also – there is a an “extra” scene in the audible that I didn’t get in the ebook…woo hoo!!
Great audible book!
If you haven’t tried audible books yet, you really need to try them – I just love them…I listen to them while driving to work and when cleaning my house…if it weren’t for audible, my house would never be cleaned!!
