Title: A Love so Tragic
Author: Stevie J. Cole
Genre: Contemporary/Second Chance Romance
Release Date: February 15, 2016
We all make them. Sometimes we break them. But what happens when the promise you break haunts your dreams, when that moment of betrayal echoes within every last beat of your heart?Love.
Love is passionate, painful, and all consuming in the most brutal yet beautiful way. How many people have you said ‘I love you’ to? Five, ten, maybe no one? I’ve said that word to two men, but only one where I felt it.Tragic.
This word sums up my relationship with Nicolas: devastating, painful, depressing.
A first love that should have lasted a lifetime, but I ruined with a stupid decision. Shakespeare would refer to Nicolas as my star crossed lover, and I should know that stories such as ours always end in tragedy, but even with that, I can’t not love him, even if I’m married to someone else.
KERRY’S 5++ STAR REVIEW
There are all types of love but no one wants to talk about how tragic love truly can be. Stevie J Cole has written a book that shows love can be beautiful and soulful but i can it open wounds but at the same time heals those wounds.
This is about a second chance romance but to get to their HEA they have to go through loss, heartache, tragedy. These two have been through hell and back. Nic and Peyton have the most passionate connection, you will feel every emotion they are going through it will tear your heart out, leave you raw, and an emotional mess. The anguish in this story is one that will leave you breathless.
We often say to listen to your heart but sometimes our minds take over and we are pulled to think we are choosing what’s right. We may be hurting the ones we love with these choices, we live with the regret with what we have done but there’s a saying “we always hurt the ones we love the most”.
Nic and Peyton have a connection that burns so bright that when someone looks their way they can see the shine, even with years apart, that love still burns. Will they act on that love or will they walk away again? As teens they both said things out of anger, they hurt each other and they can’t take back what they said. They both regret what they said in one night changed it all, they move forward in there lives but did they truly move forward?
Peyton has something so tragic happen in her life to where she will never be the same, a loss so deep there’s no words that can describe it. Nic comes back into her life and things will never be the same. They relive the old memories they shared, they try being friends again but old flames still burns and ignites. There love for one another is filled with pain, there are times it becomes toxic, but through it all their flame never dies.
We see the growth of a couple from their teens through adulthood. This book was a nail biter for me, I felt everything these two have gone through, I held my breath and shed tears while reading. I don’t think there’s one emotion I didn’t feel while reading this book.
Stevie J Cole has poured so much emotion in this book I wish I could give it more than 5 stars ~~ it’s just beautiful.

Stevie J. Cole is a secret rock star. Sex, drugs and, oh wait, no, just sex. She’s a whore for a British accent and has an unhealthy obsession with Russell Brand. She and LP plan to elope in Vegas and breed the world’s most epic child.
